OSMO Chest Strap Mount liberates user’s hand. People can easily strap their OSMO devices on their chest. This will be a great tool for users who shoot stabilized first person videos of biking, skating and doing some other extreme sports.

This chest mount consists of three main parts: quick release clip, mount board, and elastic straps. The clip has been designed with very small size so that it can be easily fixed to any other mount. The mechanism design allows people mount or release their OSMO in seconds. The shape of the chest mount board is inspired by armor and protective gear that people use when they doing the extreme sports. The triangle shape and big round corner outline reflect the feeling of protective, strong, and cool. The shape is not just cool, but also very ergonomic. I put so much effort to prototype the boards with different surfaces and curves, trying to find out the most fitted shape.

In this studio, professor ask us to find out the emerging market in the country which you love. So I chose China as the country I want to deal with. The research started from the problem analysis about China, and then summarize the situation of current and the emerging market. 

The design of the car will follow the principle of emerging market in China. We also worked with graphic student to concern about the future concept of mobility, to figure out what could be possible about the interaction between car and human.

We also got a lot valuable suggestion from designers who come from GM and Ford, They come to give us critic in mid-semster and final prevention.

People always have this kind of situation: There are some awesome images and video in hard drive, but there are not any computer nearby. I f people want to share the file to each other, they need to find a computer to do the sharing.

This concept deign could make mobile hard drive more independent. Things in this hard drive could be projected on wall so that people could see the things in hard drive. What's more, people could even share the files by just dragging file while projecting. 

In this course students will learn how to develop product concepts that solve complex problems that are varied in scope and scale. Research methods are introduced and strategically applied to the product development process. Two and three-dimensional working prototypes and a finished model will be developed. Students will document the product development process in a comprehensive presentation.
